Stop-iT is a physical sequencer. By sticking post-it notes on a surface, people create a musical composition.
The color of a post-it defines the type of instrument and its vertical position, the pitch of the note.
The surface is analyzed in real time. The generated melody is played in loop, repeatedly.
With a simple button, users can record their live session. The recording is then automatically uploaded to a website where they can find it back, download it as an mp3, or share it.
The software outputs MIDI signals, it then can communicate with external softwares and devices.
